LSEG Workspace

There are several ways to access help within the LSEG Workspace platform:

• Click the help button (question mark icon) in the main toolbar.
• Ask a question using the search bar. Start your question with 'How do I...' to find autosuggest options.

Use the LSEG Learning Centre platform to learn the basics of the platform or discover how to use specific features.

Use your @citystgeorges.ac.uk, @city.ac.uk or @bayes.city.ac.uk email address to register to access the resource.

There is a specific academia pathway for academic use, but students are free to use any content or join any class that may be useful for you.

For users getting started, LSEG recommends the following video resources (sign in required):

• Learn LSEG Workspace for Asset Management  - Coding/APIs  (retrieving and analysing data using Python or R).
• Learn LSEG Workspace for Asset Management  - APIs/Codebook (using an accessible Python coding environment to develop new tools).

You can get certified on all the LSEG products that City St George's, University of London subscribes to. The certification programmes consist of modules that you can take at your own pace.

• LSEG Finance Essentials - covers everything from economics to currencies to the stock market, to help you master the core concepts while using LSEG Workspace.
• LSEG Workspace Certification - covers learning how to access unmatched financial data, news and content coverage in a highly customised workflow experience using LSEG Workspace.
• LSEG Datastream Certification - focuses on charting and bulk data exporting, integrated with Microsoft Office.
